CELPIP reports a separate level for each skill. Levels 4 to 12 correspond to the same CLB levels; lower performance has separate reporting categories. CelpipGoal provides practice estimates for Writing, Reading and Listening. Speaking practice is recorded for self-review and has no automatic score. Practice estimates are not official CELPIP results.

A good CELPIP score depends on the requirements of your program and your goals. CLB 9 can be a useful Express Entry target because it can improve your points, but it is not a universal minimum or a guarantee of an invitation. Check the current IRCC requirements for your program.

Validity depends on how you use your results. For Express Entry, IRCC requires language test results to be less than two years old when you complete your profile and submit your permanent residence application. Do not confuse access to your score report with its acceptance period; check the rules for your application.

CELPIP is computer-delivered. CELPIP-General assesses all four skills in one sitting, including Speaking responses recorded through a microphone. CELPIP-General LS includes only Listening and Speaking and is shorter. Check the official test format for the version you book.

Yes. CelpipGoal adapts to mobile screens, so you can practise CELPIP Listening and Reading on your phone. For Writing mock tests, a computer and keyboard feel closer to the real exam. Speaking practice requires microphone permission in a supported browser.

CELPIP currently lists a turnaround of 2 to 4 business days after your test date. Your results appear in your CELPIP account, and some cases may take longer. Check the official CELPIP results page for the latest timing.

There is no single CLB requirement for every immigration program. Express Entry minimums vary by program, skill and, in some cases, occupation. CLB 9 can be a preparation target rather than a universal requirement. Citizenship applicants aged 18 to 54 generally need proof of CLB 4 or higher in Listening and Speaking. Confirm the current IRCC rules for your situation.
