Welcome to CelpipGoal. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. No Guarantee of Results (Disclaimer)

There is no guarantee that your performance on CelpipGoal will match your score on the official CELPIP® exam. Factors such as exam day stress, specific question variations, and human examiner subjectivity play a major role.Example: Achieving a CLB 9 on this app does not guarantee a CLB 9 on the real test. We are not liable for any discrepancy between our practice scores and your official results.

2. Copyright & Content Takedown Policy

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any material infringes upon your copyright, contact support@celpipgoal.com.

• Upon receiving a valid claim, we will immediately remove or disable access to the disputed content while we investigate.
• We act in good faith to resolve disputes amicably.

3. Account Usage

Your account is for individual use only. Sharing login credentials is strictly prohibited. We monitor for suspicious sharing behavior and reserve the right to suspend accounts.

4. AI Feedback Limitations

Our AI feedback is an educational tool, not a human examiner. You acknowledge that AI models may occasionally produce errors ("hallucinations"). Use the feedback as a guide, not an absolute truth.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: February 1, 2026

At CelpipGoal ("we", "us"), we value your trust. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, especially your voice data and practice results.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Data: Name and email address provided during registration (via Supabase Auth).
• Voice Data (Critical):To provide "Speaking" practice, we collect and store the audio recordings you upload. These are used solely for playback, history, and self-assessment within the platform; they are not currently processed for AI analysis.
• Usage Data: Test scores, writing submissions, and progress metrics.
• Payment Information: We do not store your credit card details. All payment processing is handled securely by Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide access to practice tests and track your progress.
• AI Analysis: Your Writing responses may be processed by Artificial Intelligence providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google) to generate feedback and estimated scores.(Note: We configure our API usage to prioritize privacy, but data is transmitted to these providers for processing).
• Detect fraud and prevent account sharing abuse.

We do not sell your data. We share data only with trusted infrastructure providers required to run the service:

4. Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You have the right to:

• Access your personal data and practice history.
• Right to Delete: You can request the complete deletion of your account (including all audio files and scores) by contacting us.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and secure your session. We may use analytical cookies to improve platform performance. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features (like saving progress) may not work.

6. International Data Transfers

Our services are operated from Canada. However, our cloud providers (Supabase, OpenAI, etc.) may process and store data in servers located in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the service, you consent to this transfer.

Refund Policy

Effective Date: February 1, 2026

1. General Policy: Final Sale

CelpipGoal provides immediate access to high-cost server resources and AI processing. Therefore, as a general rule, all purchases are considered final and non-refundable once the account has been accessed and used.

2. The "Peace of Mind" Guarantee (Conditional)

We want you to feel confident in your preparation. We offer a limited refund window for first-time subscribers who find the platform is not the right fit, subject to strict usage limits.

You are eligible for a full refund ONLY if ALL the following conditions are met:

• Time Limit: The request is made within 3 days (72 hours) of the original purchase.
• Usage Limit (Critical): You have completed fewer than 4 practice exercises in total (combined across Reading, Listening, Speaking, or Writing).
• First Time: This is your first purchase. Renewals and second accounts are not eligible.

Why this limit? Our AI feedback incurs real costs per usage. Users who consume significant content (4+ exercises) have utilized the value of the service and are not eligible for a refund.

3. Subscription Renewals

If you are on a recurring subscription plan, renewal payments are non-refundable. You are responsible for cancelling your subscription from your dashboard before the renewal date to avoid future charges.

4. How to Request

To request a refund under the Conditional Guarantee, email support@celpipgoal.com with your Order ID.

We will review your usage logs. If you meet the criteria (< 4 exercises, within 3 days), we will process the refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

5. Abuse & Violations

We reserve the right to deny refunds to any user suspected of abuse, such as creating multiple accounts to exploit the guarantee or violating our Terms of Service (e.g., account sharing).
