Review and improve your response
Use three focused passes to turn a complete draft into a clear final answer.
Work through each lesson and mark the module complete when you finish practising.
Review from the prompt outward
Read the prompt again, then your draft. In the first pass, check task fulfillment: every point, your position, audience, tone, and length. In the second pass, check organization and development: paragraph functions, explanations, examples, and logical connections. In the third pass, check language: grammar, word choice, spelling, and punctuation.
This order prevents you from polishing a sentence that you later need to remove. Keep an error log with patterns you actually make, such as missing articles or unclear pronoun references.
Make each revision solve a problem
Weak: “I choose the park because it is good for everybody.”
Revised: “I support the new park because families in our neighbourhood currently have no safe outdoor meeting place. A playground and walking path would give children and older residents somewhere nearby to exercise.”
The revision makes the choice clear, names a specific need, and explains a benefit. After editing, read the paragraph again: your change may have introduced a new agreement or reference error. Keep improvements that make the answer more relevant, precise, or readable.
